Navigating Caregiving Together
A Safe Haven for Support and Empathy
Navigating Caregiving Together is a Ventura County support group for women aged 35-50 who are caring for an aging family member. There is power in community and strength comes from supporting one another. Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming space for individuals to connect, share, and find solace in a community that understands the struggles involved with caregiving.
Our group is built on a foundation of empathy and your privacy is our priority. All discussions within the group are kept confidential, providing a secure environment for sharing personal experiences.
The group is facilitated by an experienced and professional Gerontologist who will provide guidance and support. Amy D. Genson, MS, has decades of expertise and insight as you navigate your personal journey with your loved one.

Recent thank you note:
"Dearest Amy, We wanted to express our deep gratitude for the meaningful connection we've established this year. Your generosity with your time and wisdom, particularly during moments when we needed guidance the most, have been sincerely appreciated. In moments when we felt like an overwhelming force of emotion, you gracefully absorbed it all and assisted us in reframing the challenges. On behalf of both my mom and I, we extend a very heartfelt thank you! Warmest regards, E.B."
